Thread count and yarn type can impact the comfort and quality of a bedsheet. A higher thread count usually means a softer and more durable fabric.
Single-ply yarns, made from one strand of thread, are often considered to be of higher quality and more durable compared to multi-ply yarns, which are made from multiple strands twisted together. Single-ply yarns result in a smoother and softer fabric surface.
Our bed sheets have a thread count of 300 per square inch and are made with high-quality single-ply yarn for a smooth and soft feel. It's worth noting that if the same number of threads were woven with double-ply yarn, the thread count could have easily been 600 per square inch or 750 per 10 square centimeters. It's important to consider both thread count and yarn ply when evaluating the quality of a bedsheet.
